I'm currently working on a personal animation project called Redshift with 2 friends. I'm the 3D Artist, which includes modeling, rigging, lighting, texturing and animation. I'm also the Director and Storyboard Artist. ...what do you mean 'That's all?'

After 11 (long) years as a Graphic Designer in Video Production and eLearning, I am focusing on my real passion, 3D Character Animation. 'What took you so long?', you might ask. Well, I'd like to know too. I've always experimented with animation - learning traditional cell animation at a local studio growing up (Animatus Studios in Rochester, NY) and I taught myself Lightwave when I was in college. Even when I landed my first job, I continued to find ways to implement 3D in to any project I was working on. From websites to video to eLearning, I crept my way in with 3D.
But I realized, no matter how much I modeled 3D lobbies and probes (sometimes in the same scene… ), I just wasn't happy. That's when I had the talk with my wife and needed to find out 'What am I doing?'.
Just a few years removed from that conversation, another kid added to the Fegley family tree, I've graduated from Animation Mentor and looking to be a full-time animator. My dream is simple - to animate. Whether it's games (Love 'em!) or feature film (Love them too!) or TV (Yep, love it!), I know I'll be happy doing what I've always wanted to do - animate and forever learning to hone my craft.
